race-week.com ("the site") is a personal, non-commercial project. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is processed when you visit the site.

1. Data we collect

The site is a static countdown page. We do not require registration, login, or any form submission. We do not use cookies.

A self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics script (stats.vasaas1.com) records basic, anonymous page-view data: the page URL, referrer, and approximate country derived from your IP address. Your full IP address is not stored. No tracking cookies are set and no cross-site tracking occurs.

2. Cloudflare

The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes connection metadata (IP address, TLS version, HTTP headers) to deliver the page and protect against abuse. Cloudflare acts as a data processor. For details, see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

3. No third-party tracking

We do not load resources from Google, Facebook, or any other third-party tracking service. All fonts and assets are self-hosted.

4. Local timezone

The site reads your browser's timezone setting to display session times in your local time. This information is used entirely client-side and is never sent to our server.

5. Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)

Processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in operating the site, understanding aggregate usage, and protecting against abuse. We have assessed that this processing does not override your rights, given the minimal and anonymous nature of the data.

6. Data retention

Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. Cloudflare connection logs are retained per Cloudflare's own policy (typically 24 hours for free plans).

7. Your rights
